Resepi: Cooking Red Fish Sambal Cocos

Ingredients:
3 pieces of red fish

The Kota Belud Bajau Horseman are the famous Cowboys of the East. During special occasions, the Bajau Horseman wears a black, sometimes white, long-sleeved shirt called badu sampit . Bajau Races Wedding

(known locally as kumbar) for making their house's walls. Floor mats and baskets are just some examples of 

things made entirely from the plant. 

A rumbia information center is located at Kampung Kasugira in Kuala Penyu and it also provides displays of 

sago and its uses, handicrafts as well as demonstrations of sago delicacies.

Danum Valley Conservation Area
Lahad Datu



On a sprawling 438 square kilometer undisturbed land, 70 kilometers (44 miles) west of Lahad Datu, lies nature’s jewel called the Danum Valley Conservation Area. This conservation area boasts one of the richest conservation areas in the world with over 200 species of tree per hectare thriving on it.

Maliau Basin (Sabah's Lost World)

The Maliau Basin is a place set on a sprawling 588.4 square kilometers land in Tawau, at the South Central Part of Sabah.


It contains an unusual assemblage of 12 forest types, comprising mainly of lower montane forest dominated by majestic Agathis trees, rare montane heath forest and lowland, and hill diperocarp forest. The highlight of the adventure is to trek the majestic 7 tiers Maliau Falls.


Keen visitors must, however, obtain a permission to enter the Maliau Basin in advance from Yayasan Sabah. Also bear in mind that Maliau Basin is a remote, atavistic and isolated area with limited access, communications and safety facilities.

                                 Bugis Tradisional Food





Baje canggoeng, kuer tradisonal ini bahan utamanya dari kacang tanah dan gula merah, rasanya gurih dan manis. Panganan ini dapat bertahan sampai 1 (satu) bulan dalam kemasan.


Kue ini merupakan makanan tradisional yang dikenal dengan nama Barongko yang bahan utamanya dari pisang yang dihaluskan dan dicampur dengan bahan kue lainnya. Uniknya kue ini dibungkus dengan daun pisang yang memiliki bentuk tersendiri. Kue ini menjadi kue favorit di acara-acara pernikahan Masyarakat Bugis-Makassar khususnya di Kota Parepare.

Kue ini merupakan makanan tradisional yang memilki rasa manis yang khas dimana rasa golla cella (gula merah; baca : Indonesia) mendominasi kue ini. Kue ini dikenal dengan nama Beppa golla cella karena dominasi bahan adonanya adalahgolla cella (gula merah; baca : Indonesia) dan dalam pembuatannya memilki cetakan khusus.


Kue ini merupakan makanan tradisional yang memiliki rasa khas, manis dan renyah. Untuk acara pernikahan masyarakat Bugis kue ini menjadi syarat yang mesti ada. Kue tradisional ini dikenal dengan sebutan beppa pute yang bahan utamanya terbuat dari putih telur. 

Kue tradisional yang satu ini dikenal dengan nama cucuru tekne yang bahan utamanya terbuat dari tepung beras dan gula merah. Keu ini memilki khas rasa manis gula merah, renyah dan enak. Bentuknya yang khas lonjong dan sedikit mengkerucut diujungnya menjadikanya lebih unik.
